AI & Data
Zbroz Technology Solutions, LLC wants you to know how The Deaf Socials uses your information in software — including that the Service does not use generative AI today, that we do not train foundation models on your content, that our team may use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor to write software, and what we may do later. This page is part of our Privacy Policy.
1No generative AI in the Service today
The Deaf Socials the product you use does not include generative AI. There is no chatbot in the app, no image generator, no AI writing assistant for your events, and no AI that creates or rewrites what you post.
- We do not send your events, profile, usernames, going lists, addresses, or messages to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, or any other AI company to train their models.
- We do not use your content to train our own foundation models. We do not have a generative model product today.
- Map tiles, going counts, and event approval are not generative AI.
2Automated processing we do use (not generative AI)
We use ordinary software — rules, databases, and server code — to run the Service. Humans still review new events and published updates before they appear on the public map (on our local operator tools). Examples:
- Map and list. The app downloads published events that are not yet over. Your phone may sort the list by distance using on-device GPS. We do not upload your GPS for that search.
- Going counts. Software counts how many accounts tapped I’m going. Map pins show a count. Nearby pins may merge into one cluster whose number is the summed going count, not the number of events.
- Sign-in and security. Software checks passwords against hashes, issues and rotates tokens, applies rate limits, and writes security records (sign-in success or failure, resets, and similar). Disabled accounts are blocked.
- Event rules. Software requires a description, times, a full address, and a confirmed pin. It stores pending creates off the map. It stores published edits as a proposal until approved. It can block edits on events whose end time has passed.
- Place from a Maps link. Software may expand a Google or Apple share link and read coordinates. That is parsing a public page, not AI.
- Operator review. Local operators can approve or reject pending creates and published updates. That is a human decision supported by software, not a generative model.
These systems do not produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without a human in the approval path for publishing events. Going status is something you choose.
3How we build the software (Cursor and similar tools)
Our team may use AI-assisted development tools, including Cursor, to help write, edit, and review source code and related project files. That is an internal engineering practice. It is not a feature of the Service you use, and it is not how we run your account, events, or going lists.
- The live Service does not send your email, username, password, events, addresses, going lists, or security records to Cursor in order to operate the app.
- Code and documents we ship are reviewed and adopted by Zbroz Technology Solutions, LLC as our own. Using a coding assistant does not transfer ownership of the Service to Cursor, and it does not make Cursor a party to these pages or to the Terms of Use.
- Cursor is a product of another company, with its own terms and privacy policy. We are not Cursor. We are not responsible for Cursor’s products, outages, or practices.
- Using development tools — including AI-assisted ones — does not change the “AS IS” nature of the Service or create a warranty that the software is error-free.
This disclosure is for transparency. It does not mean the app is an “AI product,” that your posts are generated by AI, or that your personal information is used to train Cursor or any other model.
4What we will not do without a further notice
We will not sell your personal information to train other companies’ AI models without updating this page and giving a further notice.
If we add generative AI or similar automated features (for example, suggested event text), we will describe what data they use, whether a human reviews the result, and whether content is sent to another company. We will update this page. Continued use after that update is acceptance, as in the Privacy Policy.
5Your choices
You can choose not to create events, not to tap I’m going, to turn off location, or to delete your account. There is no separate “AI opt-out” for the Service today because the Service does not include generative AI for you to use. Internal development tools are not something you opt into or out of as an end user.

We may update this page. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. If you keep using The Deaf Socials after an update, you accept the new version. We may also tell you in the app or by email when a change is important. Your continued use is acceptance even if you do not read the new version.
